What if the pro doesn’t show up? +

What if I don’t like the work? +
Report within 24h. We send someone back at no charge, or refund. 60-day workmanship guarantee on eligible categories.
Are the pros actually vetted? +
Yes. Every pro is Certn background-checked (annually), Alberta-licensed for their category, WCB-cleared, and $2M CGL insured. See the full stack on our Trust page.
How do I pay? +
Credit card, debit card, or Apple/Google Pay. Card is authorized when you book, captured to escrow when the pro starts, released 24h after they finish (or immediately if you tap Release Now).
Can I tip? +
Yes — in-app after the job. Tips go 100% to the pro. We don’t take a cut of tips.
Do you cover my area? +

Can I book recurring service? +
Yes — cleaning, lawn, and snow all support recurring schedules. Weekly, biweekly, monthly, or seasonal contracts.
What about pets, kids, allergies? +
Add them to your address profile. Pros see it before every visit and can flag if it changes their approach.
How do I become a pro on HomeHands? +
Apply on the For pros page. Founding-100 slots in Red Deer come with permanent 20% commission and free Pro tier for year one.
Is this Uber for home services? +
Same instant-dispatch model, but with fixed pricing (not surge), escrow (so pros get paid), and hard-vetted vendors (not gig workers). We think it fixes the parts of the Uber model that hurt operators.
